How does a chemical peel work?

Chemical peeling can be done on the face, neck, chest, hands, arms and legs.
Chemical peeling is not a very complex dermatological procedure where most patients experience a warm to hot sensation when the peeling is being performed. This sensation may last for around ten minutes followed by a mild stinging sensation.
Mild redness post chemical exfoliation is common. Since the skin is sensitive post treatment, a good sun-block formula and regular skin care routine is recommended.
